We are looking for bartenders who will be welcoming to bar guests with fast, friendly service, bringing a good attitude and a sense of urgency into every shift. Bartender must be comfortable with creating new and innovative cocktails as well as being able to handle volume. We have an awesome staff and are looking to add people who want to work at Back Bay's favorite industry hang-out.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Minimum 2 years bartending experience
- Interact well with guests, taking food and drink orders
- Good knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer
- Comfortable handling cash transactions and using Point of Sales system
- Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts on your feet
- Able to work comfortably with other people behind the bar
- Maintain a clean, well-organized bar

Back Bay Social is looking for a door person/security Friday and Saturday nights from 7:00pm to 2:30am. Prior door experience required, ID knowledge is a must. Crowd is pretty chill, mostly 25-35 years old, and industry coming after their shifts at local restaurants and bars. We believe firmly in de-escalation of any conflict, looking for a door person, not a bouncer. State of Massachusetts requires anyone working security to go though a background check. Starting Pay $20/hr.

Floor Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to running shifts, ensuring proper staffing levels, interacting with guests, seating patrons, running food, running cards and cash handling, ensuring capacity limits are adhered to, de escalating issues with or between guests, ensuring the safety of all staff and patrons, among many other responsibilities that crop up throughout the day.
To be successful in this role, you must be familiar with restaurant operations, have a good knowledge of food and beverage, including liquor and beer and have a good understanding of what makes for great customer service. You should also be available to work within opening hours, including weekends, late nights and holidays, you should have familiarity with POS systems (preferably POSI and or Toast) and crowd control. Busy bar experience is a plus.
Ultimately, you will help minimize operating costs, boost our employee retention and deliver a positive experience for our guests.
